Since receiving an inheritance, Quinn has been hanging on to a cloud floating by overhead, relaxing and enjoying her days with no particular goal in mind. On her 24th birthday, she began thinking about doing something worthwhile with her life; letting go of the cloud and putting her feet on solid ground, attempting to accomplish something of value.
After many starts and stops, she determined to open an art gallery, with her focus on showcasing and encouraging new artists from many different genres. Friends (including a very close friend!) and family were helpful and encouraging in this process, along with an assistant who was talented beyond anything Quinn could have imagined, and without whom she would have been lost. Many new artists benefited from being showcased in her gallery and were on their way to greater exposure in their fields. Success for Gallery Quinn 24.
My husband and I play music often, and I say while listening to one song or another, "this was one of my mom's favorite songs". After a while, it seemed like 'if the music was written, and words were added, then someone sang it', it became a favorite of my mom's.
It seems I might be the same way. When I began to think about "Songs of my Inner Journey" it was evident that my heart is chucked full of favorite songs!
Each song in this book has touched my heart in one way or another, and I pray that my thoughts will touch your heart also.
A friend wrote: "From the beginning the reader is pulled into 'remembering'. The author reflects on the beautiful happenings and the goals attained in her life, on lessons learned through trials, but always through insight, until you begin to realize that at her core is a firm reliance on Jesus Christ. Her openness and honesty allows for the reader's learning and perspective."
It is generally my aim to break things down in the simplest way (it is possible to do that and ramble at the same time!) This may not all 'fit' you, so I'm giving it to you like hand lotion. Take it and rub it in until it fits. There is no hidden agenda or message here. No 'this is what I mean when I say that'. I write what I mean to say, Please take joy from it as you read it exactly as written.
